SSAO (Semicarbazide-Sensitive Amine Oxidase) Fluorometric (resorufin) Assay Kit, Fluoro SSAO - 500 test

This Fluorescent Semicarbazide-Sensitive Amine Oxidase Detection Kit utilizes a non-fluorescent detection reagent, 10-acetyl-3, 7-dihydroxyphenoxazine (ADHP). Semicarbazide-Sensitive Amine Oxidase (SSAO)-mediated conversion of benzylamine to benzaldehyde generates H2O2, which subsequently oxidizes ADHP at 1:1 stoichiometry into a fluorescent product resorufin (excitation at 530-571 nm, emission at 590-600 nm). The latter reaction is catalyzed by peroxidase. This sensitive non-radioactive one-step no-wash assay has a capability of monitoring multiple time points to establish kinetics.
