Mouse Apo C-III ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is designed for detection of rat/mouse Apo C-III in plasma, serum, and cell culture samples.  This assay employs a quantitative competitive enzyme immunoassay technique that measures rat/mouseApo C-III in less than 5 hours. A capture antibody has been coated onto a 96-well microplate with removable strips. A specific antibody against Rat Apo C-III binds to the captured antibody. Apo CIII in standards and samples is competed with a biotinylated Apo C-III sandwiched by the immobilized antibody and streptavidin-peroxidase conjugate.  All unbound material is then washed away and a peroxidase enzyme substrate is added.  The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
